What we restore
πŸ‘΅

Family Photographs

Fading, foxing, water damage, missing corners. Black-and-white or hand-tinted; we bring detail back gently.

πŸ“œ

Antique & Heritage

Wet-plate, daguerreotype, ferrotype, glass negatives. Stabilised, scanned, restored, and archive-printed.

βœ‚οΈ

Damaged Originals

Tears, creases, ink spills. Digital restoration with the original kept safe.

Common repairs

The specific damage we fix, one pixel at a time.

🩹

Tears & creases

From small folds to major tears β€” pixel-by-pixel rebuilding of the missing area, matching grain and tone.

🎨

Faded colour & lost detail

Bring saturation, contrast, and fine detail back. Skies recover, faces recover, paper-yellowing comes off.

🟀

Spots, stains & mould

Foxing, water-marks, mildew, mould β€” removed without softening the underlying image.

πŸ•°οΈ

Cracks & scratches

Surface damage on prints and negatives. Cracks bridged, scratches cloned out, age-spots dissolved.

πŸ”¦

Light & red-eye fixes

Underexposed shadows lifted, blown highlights pulled back, flash red-eye corrected without zombie pupils.

πŸ–ŒοΈ

Hand-colour B&W

Add tint to black-and-white photos for a vintage hand-painted look. Period-appropriate palette, careful skin tones.

How it works

Fifteen years of restoration experience. Send the photo by post β€” or drop in if you're local. We scan at archival resolution on high-end equipment, then restore digitally so the original stays untouched.

You get a printed restored copy back, plus a digital archive file on USB, optical disc, or online transfer β€” your choice. Original returned safely. Turnaround usually two weeks; rush available.
