Freeport, A Charming Beginning:
After a 13 hours drive north from Philadelphia, our camping and kayaking fun begins in Freeport, a charming coastal town with its rugged beauty and bustling streets. We set up camp at Recompence Shore Campground under the starry sky, eager to embrace Maine's coastal wonders. With our cameras by our side and our furry friends wagging their tails in excitement, we are ready to capture the essence of this captivating region.
We went kayaking every day of our stay in Freeport from our campsite and had the best campfires in the evening. We highly recommend this campsite if you are in this neck of the woods.
A Symphony of Coastal Colours: Bar Harbor Beckons
After a week, we headed further up north to Arcadia National Park. Pitching our tent at the glorious Somes Sounds View Campsite Camping right on the waterfront, we had an epic couple of weeks, hiking, kayaking and catching the golden hues of the trees as the autumn nights closed in.
The rhythmic sound of our paddles cuts through the water as we kayak our way around Bar Harbor. The coastal cliffs rise majestically, adorned with an orchestra of vibrant colours. Our cameras work overtime, capturing the contrasts of the blue ocean against the lush greenery and the rocky cliffs.
Bogart and Angel are natural adventurers. Their wagging tails and curious eyes are a constant reminder of the joy and freedom of exploring the outdoors. We capture their playful spirits and the unbreakable bond we share.
